Organizations on Post Traumatic Growth and Wellness
We are excited to share with you about two organization that support Emergency Responders and Military Personnel., Boulder Crest - Struggle Well & Mighty Oaks Foundation. RMPFC Chaplains have attended each of these trainings and have the highest of recommendations to participate in. We hope that you will check out these amazing organizations, attend yourself, and recommend to others at your agencies to send those that you serve.
Agencies across the country are utilizing these resources to bring healing and preventative measures to their wellness programs.
Boulder Crest - Struggle Well
A comprehensive approach that focuses on transformation of the active serving military and first responder culture, rather than the implementation of another wellness program.
Struggle Well training is guided by two objectives: normalizing the struggles that are a part of every service member and first responder’s life, and democratizing their ability to struggle well.
Struggle Well trains active serving military units and first responder agencies so participants are able to transform struggle into strength and growth, and be of better service to themselves, their family, community, and country.
Mighty Oaks Foundation
The Mighty Oaks Foundation is a faith-based Veteran service organization that teaches combat Veterans (and First Responders) struggling with Post Traumatic Stress how to get beyond combat trauma and live their lives in the manner God intended. Many combat vets are unable to reintegrate back into civilian life, leaving their families to deal with the aftermath of broken homes and suicide at times.
By aligning their lives to Biblical principles, these Warriors are able to lead their families, their communities and our nation. Our mission is to serve and restore our nation’s Warriors and families, who have endured hardship through their service to America, and to help them find a new life purpose through hope in Christ and our resiliency and peer-to-peer recovery programs.
